Lemuel Potts is not having a good day. Unable to defraud the seller of a shipment of bananas who is suffering from heart failure, he attempts to collect insurance on an antique shop he tries to burn. Thwarted by Steed once again, he is arrested, but not before being tricked into revealing his accomplices. Having also obtained a check from Potts, Steed then pays for the bananas, much to Dr. Keel's amusement.
