by Pete Stampede and David K. Smith Tall, glum-looking John Junkin was in A Hard Day's Night and The Wrong Arm of the Law. He has often been a support in comedy shows, notably in The Blackpool Show (1966) with the gifted, tragic Tony Hancock, and It's Marty Feldman (1968-69) as well as The Marty Feldman Comedy Machine (1971-72), and has written for many other comedians, such as super-smug Bob Monkhouse. Born 29 January 1930 in Ealing, Middlesex, Junkin also appeared in No. 1 - Licensed to Love and Kill (1979) with Gareth Hunt. TV guest turns include The Professionals, "The Untouchables" (1983) and Ghost Squad, "Escape Route" (1961). |
