Suspecting that his wife and an accomplice are planning to murder him for his fortune, General Mendoza fakes his own death, leaves Caribbia and arranges for his daughter to be kidnapped for her safety. But the plan is foiled when his daughter is kidnapped for real. While Steed rescues his daughter, the General is in London being treated by Dr. Keel.
