The Best of Tara King

Contrary to the belief held by Emma-Peel-Or-Naught fans, the term "good Tara King episode" is not an oxy-moron. Here's your guide to some very satisfying episodes.

1

All Done with Mirrors: Never thought a Tara King episode could be as good as an Emma Peel one? This is as close as it gets—and it is, indeed, close enough for this staunch Emma Peel fan.

2

Love All: The producers managed to break out of the box and create something so different as to make a stale plot device seem like a breath of fresh air.

3

The Interrogators: I have been conditioned by my superiors to respond more favorably to episodes featuring Mr. Christopher Lee.

4

Killer: O.K, this isn't very fair, because Tara isn't even in this one. But it is a "Tara King" episode, and it's a good one, too. Just so happens Steed has a different partner, and a delightful one at that.

5

Wish You Were Here: Linda Thorson turns in a very fine comic performance (maybe she missed her calling?) in this lighthearted send-up to The Prisoner.

Honorable Mention

Take-Over: A rather un-Avengers episode that is still worthy of attention.

Stay Tuned: Macnee's performance plus some very eerie, atmospheric scenes make this one worth a look.

Who Was That Man I Saw You With?: An excellent diabolical mastermind is worth the price of admission for this one.
