by Pete Stampede and David K. Smith There is some irony in "The Big Thinker," what with talk of government cover-ups; Anthony Booth, who plays the "boy wonder" Dr. Kearnes, is Prime Minister Tony Blair's father-in-law. Born 1937 and a fixture in the Confessions of... series in the mid-70s, Booth made few TV guest appearances, one of them in The Professionals. His latest turn on the silver screen was in Extremely Dangerous (1999). It is for his regular role in Till Death Do Us Part as the "Scouse git" boyfriend of Alf Garnett's daughter that he is best remembered. |
