The Thirteenth Hole
by Matthew Moore, a.k.a. Sixofone

Plot: Very good. Transmitting secrets over a television satellite makes some sense, but since it was an American satellite, wouldn't the programming on NBC suddenly interrupted with a scientist telling secrets? It made no sense having a golf course involved with this episode, but it made for some good fun.

Humour: Good. Steed looking at a bullet: "Guaranteed to make a hole in one every time." I loved Steed's instruments on the golf course. My favorite comedic moment of this episode has to be after the explosion on the golf course when Dr. Adams looks up to see Steed right next to him.

Direction: OK. Not much to say here really... moving on...

Acting: Very good. Peter Jones did a great job as Dr. Adams. I enjoyed Waversham's (Donald Hewlett) flirting with Emma and her being non-responsive.

Music: Very good. Nice music on the golf course during Steed and Reed's game.

Tag: Good. An episode about golf, so a golf cart makes sense.

Miscellaneous: For some reason Peter Jones as Dr. Adams reminded me of Ian Hendry—just put glasses on him, make his hair gray, give him a kicky beret, and you get Dr. Adams. For your information, the man on the TV screen is Richard Marner, who plays Colonel Von Strohm in 'Allo 'Allo!
