The imposing Stanmore Hall was pressed into service on two occasions: it was Brigadier Whitehead's stately home in "From Venus With Love" (left two views above) and Professor Poole's domicile in "The Winged Avenger" (right two views). In real life it was the headquarters for a Swiss trade organization until it was sold to be turned in to luxury flats around 1995. Leonardo Dicaprio is rumored to be a resident.
