Bits and bytes. (18 February) A Miss Emma Young would like fans of Diana Rigg and Emma Peel to know she is working on a new website. She emphasizes that it is in its earliest stages, so don't expect much. But she welcomes comments and suggestions. Also, one of Steed's many Bentleys, registration XR 6056, has been identified by Lawrence Bleasdale, who notes that it is currently located in the United States. Thanks so much, Lawrence! Now they are all properly identified. And finally, a file that has been sitting in my mailbox since November of 2005 has finally been dusted off and posted: John Orleanski's Rescue Me! for the color season. Sorry it's taken so long, John. Goofing off. (9 February) I actually spent almost a whole day doing "nothing"! Let's try this again. (4 February) A while back, Robin Wright began work on a dissertation about the influence Honor Blackman/Cathy Gale had on women. Due to a series of unfortunate events, Robin was unable to complete the interviews she had scheduled in the UK. She is now once again issuing a call for interviews. If watching the first feminist on television, Honor Blackman as Dr. Catherine Gale, influenced your life, please read this. Thank you! |
