Avengers '62 in advance! (20 December) I have not yet received official notice from New Video, but Amazon has. The Avengers '62: Complete Set appears to be available for pre-order! (With thanks to eagle-eyed Charles P. Rhoads). Have a look:

STOP PRESS. (5 December) After I gathered up the fans' responses to the bonus disc announcements and discussed them with New Video, they agreed to make an attempt to add the Chessboard Intro to the new bonus disc! Stay tuned for further developments—they are also still working on the packaging design, and will forward advance copies of the artwork to me as soon as it's ready...

At last, I can spill the beans. (2 December) I have at last been permitted to reveal the contents of the bonus disc mentioned in the news release at TV Shows on DVD:

Even more good news: The Avengers '62 (the last of the Cathy Gale episodes) is tentatively scheduled for release in March '06! New Video will be providing me with some artwork for these new products in the very near future, which will be posted here. A new IMHO details how this all came to be.
