A&E haven't given up yet. (27 November) Rather than re-type the whole shebang, I'll just refer interested readers to this exciting news release at TV Shows on DVD. What this website does not say is what's on the "bonus disc"—I happen to know, but have not yet been cleared to say. Check back here frequently for further updates. Next Thursday: a night to stay home and watch the telly. (1 November) It would seem to be a banner season for The Avengers on television—all crammed into one evening. The new BBC4 documentary, The Avengers Revisited, airs 8:30 PM on 10 November (repeated at 2:30 AM on 11 November and again at 12:30 AM on 12 November)—here is a trailer. Then, ITV1 is running The Avengers - Must See TV hosted by Joan Collins at 10:00 PM on 10 November. As if that's not enough, apparently Joanna Lumley has a new series, Sensitive Skin, that will debut on BBC2 the same time as Must See TV. |
