Important announcement about bogus Forum posts. 17 August. I wanted to alert you to the fact that we are experiencing a great deal of difficulty with an apparently troubled Forum visitor who has been posting rude, insulting and disgusting posts under the names of some of our regulars, including myself, Mike Noon, Frank Hui and others. We are doing our very best to keep them under control, but it seems the perpetrator insists on disrupting the Forum. It should be fairly obvious when you encounter any of these posts, because they are wholly inappropriate and often sexual in nature. I wanted to make sure all Forum visitors are aware of the problem in the event that you might encounter any of these posts before we are able to remove them, as they can be confusing or disturbing. We are sorry about this, but sadly the world is full of sick individuals with nothing better to do. Dog days of summer. 15 August. Thankfully central New Jersey was spared from the "worst blackout in U.S. history," although it was dark just a few miles away. Of course, with the dearth of updates at TAF the last few months, some visitors might conclude the site is suffering a nearly perpetual blackout. I am sorry for this, but real life continues to monopolize my spare time; I will try my very best to update the site at least once a month. This round of updates starts off with a hot topic: DVDs. The demise of Contender's license and A&E's slower release cycle have been offset by new products emerging in unusual markets such as Italy and the Netherlands, so there is a nearly constant buzz these days that has only served to increase the confusion. In other news, as might be expected, Frankymole has delivered another healthy batch of Visitor Reviews, including: Frankymole is joined this month by young Eli Mansour, who reviews "Wish You Were Here." |
