Closing out a busy month. 30 November. We end November with a web exclusive: Alan Hayes, in spite of having the flu, has kindly provided the very first review of "Girl on the Trapeze" to be found anywhere! This is the long lost episode recently recovered from a film archive in California and should soon be made available on video. It was screened earlier today for the Missing Believed Wiped event at the National Film Theatre in London. In other news, the indefatigable Alan and Alys have completely rebuilt Avengers on the Radio from the ground up. All new pages, new cosmetics, new content, new HTML, all new, new, new. It is, IMHO, a fabulous job that was well worth all of their effort. I heartily recommend paying them a visit! And finally, here are three outstanding visitor contributions: a review of "Silent Dust" by Daniel Frankham of Australia, a review of "Escape in Time" by Neil Saunders of Fulham, London, and an essay entitled "A Woman's Opinion on Tara King" by Cassandra Elise.

It's never easy. 29 November. Immediately upon publishing the reworked Flats, a sharp-eared site visitor named Gonzalo Ciarleglio pointed out that Steed gave his address as 5 Westminster Mews in "Propellant 23," an early second season episode. Which means... either his second season flat was by some miracle completely rebuilt (including the relocation of the building's main doors and windows) sometime late 1961, or his third season address was not 5 Westminster Mews—which means Dave Rogers is wrong (and it wouldn't be the first time). Ah, well, a webmaster's work is never done...

Thanksgiving greetings from the Yanks. 28 November. As a Thanksgiving gift, I offer a completely revamped Flats section, with loads of all-new DVD images and panoramas, plus, at long last, a page for Cathy Gale. Still to come are more for Cathy and, of course, Tara King's goofy abode.

Marathon! 25 November. Check AvengerNews for a New Year's Day present from the Mystery Channel.

In memoriam. 24 November. Pete Stampede provides bios of two Avengers guest actors who have passed away earlier this year: Alan MacNaughtan and Ray Martine.

A&E poised to deliver on a long-standing promise. 21 November. Hot stuff for US fans (as well as anyone who imports DVDs from the US)—see AvengerNews!

Follow-up details on the NFT "Missing Believed Wiped" event. 19 November. See AvengerNews for a message from Dick Fiddy.

One of our own makes good. 18 November. Carlos (Los Vengadores) Pagés will be interviewed on the radio about The Avengers—see AvengerNews for the details!

Case pretty much closed. 15 November. Auto expert John Shostrom writes: "I have looked closely at the bits in "Warlock" and "Mr Teddy Bear," and can state quite conclusively that Cathy is driving an MGA. If nothing else, the distinctive windscreen surround and fascia-mounted interior rearview mirror give the game away. Also there is a good front three-quarter view in "Mr Teddy Bear" that clearly shows the MGA's distinctive wingline. As far as Steed's homely little Triumph Herald is concerned, I'd prefer to think it was a hire car at the time. Perhaps one of his vintage conveyances was in for service, or he felt like travelling incognito. I choose the former rather than the latter." In other news, fans of Diana Rigg—or, to be more precise, Diana Rigg singing—can obtain a CD released by Harkit Records featuring "Forget Yesterday," used in Tom Stoppard's play Jumpers, and the standard "Sentimental Journey." Call Victoria Wenzel, of Matrix Music, Inc. in the States at 1-800-289-0758, and place your credit card order. With thanks to John Orleanski for this news.

By any other name... 13 November. Thanks to Mike (Deadline, Dead Duck and The Avengers Illustrated) Noon, working titles for a number of David Keel and Cathy Gale episodes have been added. They include:

Forgive me if this is an old rant. 10 November. Recent banter about a new Avengers film (which seems to come up every few months) has inspired this month's IMHO. I apologize to regulars who have heard all of my whining and carping and lecturing before, but it is a subject very near and dear to my heart.

Own a bit of Avengers history. 9 November. See AvengerNews for details on how you can obtain a suit worn by Steed, as well as an update on the Contender DVDs. Also: Elaine Smith has provided some neat trivia for "The Girl from Auntie" concerning the solicitors Barrett, Barrett & Wimpole. Visitor feedback is online for September and October. And finally, with Visitor Reviews now numbering over 300, I've split out Guest Essays and Illuminations by Jon Woods to improve organization.

All good things... 8 November. I must finally confess something I've known for many months. Regrettably, Joseph Lloyd, founder of The Young Avengers, has decided that he no longer wishes to maintain the site. I fully understand his reasons: he is, after all, no longer a "Young Avenger" in the true sense of the term, and as a man Joseph must make a life for himself, which at this stage leaves little room for a time-intensive hobby such as an Avengers website. Rather than simply abandon The Young Avengers altogether, I elected to preserve what I thought was his best work: 110 extraordinarily detailed episode reviews. These have now been fully integrated into TAF for the enjoyment of present and future visitors. Fans of Avengers music should note the extra effort he put into the music notes of the Tara King reviews. Please join me in wishing Joseph the very best life has to offer, with the hopes he may one day return to the fold. In other news, it has been suggested that I make All In Good Time available to visitors once again.

Lotsa new stuff. 3 November. I am extremely pleased to announce that TAF now features no less than 67 reviews by fellow webmaster Grant L. Goggans. If the name and/or the reviews seem familiar, I leave it to the reader to imagine how they wound up here, as I am not exactly in the best position to reveal the gory details. Be that as it may, if you have not previously encountered his material, I think you will enjoy it. Also new this update is a revised, highly detailed "how-to" for folks who want to play DVDs on their PCs, provided by Moatmai, a techno- (and HTML-) guru from Germany. Moatmai also happens to have a website featuring a review of The Avengers movie—be sure to check out the related pages on teddy bears and inebriated actors.
