Noon: Doomsday, RIP. 31 May. Once again biting off more than he can chew, Mike Noon has expanded his already irritatingly diffuse Avengers Website Empire by taking a chainsaw to eponymous vanity project Noon: Doomsday. Now, one is two: Dead Duck! Dead Duck and Deadline, both named after 60s Avengers novels written by Peter Leslie but credited to Patrick Macnee. Deadline is about image and reaction: image via the iconographies of the show and its times in magazine articles, covers and press releases; reaction via the printed word in the form of reviews, citations, interviews, etc. The Duck, on the other hand, is concerned with stuff: merchandise, goodies, books, records, toys, etc.—basically, things you don't really need. Avenge your PC... again. 27 May. Frank Anderson has generously provided a new, fully-loaded Windows theme pack. With a total of 38 components, the emphasis is on "loaded." Head for the Themes page and prepare for some serious download time... and if you'd like to sample just the animated cursors (nine in all), they're available separately. I've also drafted a new IMHO, which ought to get a few fans hot under the collar.

More Tara has arrived. 6 May. With A&E's DVD sets three and four now on the street, I've finally been able to upgrade those dreadful old images for "The Interrogators," "The Rotters," "Invasion of the Earthmen," "Killer," "The Morning After," "The Curious Case of the Countless Clues," "Wish You Were Here," "Stay Tuned," "Take Me To Your Leader," "Fog," "Homicide and Old Lace," "The Great Great Britain Crime," "Love All" and "Get-A-Way!" It also allowed me to add images to the bios for Joss Ackland, Philip Bond, Roger Delgado, Glynn Edwards and Gary Watson. Also, Mother's silly "Fogmobile" has been added to the Avenging Vehicles page. Looks to me like a highly modified Mini Moke, but I could use an expert opinion on this. And finally, a tiny tidbit of precious information has been added to Rhonda Parker's bio, courtesy of Mark Bale via TheAvengers.TV Forum.
