Noon: Doomsday, RIP. 31 May. Once again
biting off more than he can chew, Mike Noon has expanded his already
irritatingly diffuse Avengers Website Empire by taking a chainsaw
to eponymous vanity project Noon: Doomsday. Now, one is two: Massively great radio news. 28 May. Alan and Alys Hayes have some extraordinary, groundbreaking news regarding The Avengers radio series. Please visit Avengers on the Radio and see What's New for all the exciting details! And... in an effort to better integrate our respective sites, links have been added to the review pages here at TAF that take you to the corresponding radio program pages at AOR. The episodes involved are: "The Cybernauts," "Dial a Deadly Number," "Quick-Quick Slow Death," "Honey for the Prince," "From Venus With Love," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station," "The Joker," "Super Secret Cypher Snatch," "Look - (stop me if you've heard this one) But There Were These Two Fellers...," "They Keep Killing Steed," "The Morning After," "Love All" and "Get-A-Way!" Avenge your PC... again. 27 May. Frank Anderson has generously provided a new, fully-loaded Windows theme pack. With a total of 38 components, the emphasis is on "loaded." Head for the Themes page and prepare for some serious download time... and if you'd like to sample just the animated cursors (nine in all), they're available separately. I've also drafted a new IMHO, which ought to get a few fans hot under the collar. The return of Pete Stampede. 25 May. After a long absence from writing guest actor biographies, I am pleased to present three fine new in-depth works from Pete for you to enjoy: Attention Rhonda-spotters... 23 May. Having acquired a used copy of Husbands, I have placed a screen grab from same on Rhonda Parker's bio. Saving the best for last. 20 May. Terylene explains that, sadly, these are the last reviews from her (for the present, at least): More visitor reviews have arrived. 7 May. With just a tad of help, the prolific Terylene has provided another half-dozen:
More Tara has arrived. 6 May. With A&E's DVD sets three and four now on the street, I've finally been able to upgrade those dreadful old images for "The Interrogators," "The Rotters," "Invasion of the Earthmen," "Killer," "The Morning After," "The Curious Case of the Countless Clues," "Wish You Were Here," "Stay Tuned," "Take Me To Your Leader," "Fog," "Homicide and Old Lace," "The Great Great Britain Crime," "Love All" and "Get-A-Way!" It also allowed me to add images to the bios for Joss Ackland, Philip Bond, Roger Delgado, Glynn Edwards and Gary Watson. Also, Mother's silly "Fogmobile" has been added to the Avenging Vehicles page. Looks to me like a highly modified Mini Moke, but I could use an expert opinion on this. And finally, a tiny tidbit of precious information has been added to Rhonda Parker's bio, courtesy of Mark Bale via TheAvengers.TV Forum. If you haven't been back in a couple of months, be sure check out the archive file for April—an awful lot has been going on lately. |
