Unusual new musical selections. 30 July. Thanks to a heads-up from Alan Hayes, two new additions have been made to the UK audio CD page at the eStore: The Musical Worlds of Laurie Johnson and The Best of Johnny Dankworth. Curiously, the former was available some time ago, then vanished only to just reappear.

Lots of reading to do... 20 July. Fifteen new Visitor Reviews await you, with six of them being from five new contributors. And yes, I was down for a good long while yesterday. The ISP folks will be sitting on pillows for a while, during which time they will be relocating the site to a more reliable box. Bad ISP. Bad, baaaad ISP. Sit! Play dead!—No, no, don't play dead...!

The Avengers eStore! 17 July. In order to better support the entire family of sites at TheAvengers.TV, I've taken my old Merchandise pages and spun them off into a stand-alone website that is now accessible from the main gate. Although it has retained some of the organization and layout of its source, the new site is totally rebuilt and provides new features and information.

Just to mess everybody up... 15 July. After having gone through the painful process of re-ordering the Tara King episodes to production order—and preferring them that way—I was tempted to re-order all of the episodes to production order for the sake of acquiring the Holy Grail of Consistency. Before making such a significant change, however, I presented the topic at the Forum to see how such a decision might be received.

My instincts have been supported by the majority of views, and so the whole site is now in production order. With thanks to all the Forum participants who provided such valuable input. I hope this meets with acceptance (although I secretly fear I've just made everything more confusing than ever).

Last of the Gale images—for now. 10 July. One of those "finally got around to it" things: the second half of the second season (from "Intercrime" through "Brief for Murder") has been upgraded with DVD-grade images—and 50% more of them, too. Since A&E has decided to switch to the Tara King episodes before finishing the Cathy Gales, there's no telling when the rest will be forthcoming. And if you haven't seen it yet, check out Alistair McGown's great lunchtime doodlings...

Post-holiday quickie. 9 July. Just back from a long weekend away celebrating US independence (and wondering, had we not broken away from the mother ship, what effect this might have had on The Avengers...). For US fans who have not yet committed to purchasing any DVDs, consider A&E's Complete Emma Peel DVD Megaset. Due for release 28 August, this 16-disc set lets you get 'em all in one fell swoop.
