Rodney Marshall: the new King of TAF. (8 May) Son of Roger Marshall, Rodney has become a crazed, review-generating machine, beavering away at the Rigg episodes with the intention, I imagine, of reviewing the entire series. With well over a dozen new reviews—bringing the current total to 44—it's reached the point where it was necessary to split them all onto individual pages; thus his original single review page now serves as an index, complete with a brief bio. I'm actually grateful for his obsession, since it's provided, for the present anyway, the sole source of site updates. And speaking of updates, I hope that the harder-core fans of TAF aren't checking in every other day to see what's new, as some have confessed, because, unless some significant event (such as the passing of a series regular—perish the thought) has taken place, updates will more than likely be just once a month. I've already got next month's update lined up: episode titles in Dutch, plus transmission dates, courtesy of Henkus Schumacher, which will coincide with a thorough revamp of the International Scene section. |
